Dear Friends:
For almost 30 years, Unity Spiritual Center has been a loving, welcoming, spiritual community, uniting people of diverse backgrounds and beliefs. Unity honors all paths to Truth, offers a positive message, and a fresh approach to the teachings of Jesus. It is my absolute pleasure to serve as Sr. Minister of this community, where I have been a member for over five years.
Ordained an Interfaith Minister in 1988, I became involved with Unity in 1998 when I assisted Rev. Dolores Vetter in creating Unity Christ Church in Boonton, NJ. I had the honor of serving as acting Minister from February – September 2011, and as Co-Minister from 2005-2009. Since then I have been immersed in the Unity teachings, participated in various training programs, and completed all the requirements to enter the Licensing and Ordination Program through Unity Institute and Seminary, where I am currently enrolled.
My personal mission and vision statement are:

- Vision Statement: “That all people will realize and know Oneness”
My heartfelt intention is to continue to make Unity Spiritual Center a haven for like-minded people by offering inspiring Sunday messages, as well as thought-provoking programs and workshops which assist all in the expansion of consciousness.

BIO: Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Rev. Carmela relocated to Boonton, NJ in 1987. Her business career has included Human Resources Management and Administrative Management. She became interested in esoteric studies in the late 70’s, was ordained an Interfaith Minister in 1988, and opened the Divine Light Center in 1990 offering various services which include healing sessions, spiritual counseling, and services such as Weddings, Christenings, Memorial Services, Funerals, and Change of Life Blessings. She’s a Reiki Master, IET Master Instructor, MariEl practitioner, a certified Hypnotherapist, and was Co-Minister of Unity Christ Church in Boonton, NJ, from 2005-2009. She has two wonderful sons, two wonderful daughters-in-law, and several “grand pets”. Rev. Carmela recently moved to Hunterdon County and loves her new location! Rev. Carmela completed the Field Ministerial Program through Unity Worldwide Spiritual Instute and ordained a Unity Minister in June 2020, the first class to be ordained virtually due to the pandemic.
Rev Carmela is available for Spiritual Counseling, Healing sessions, Prayer Sessions, Services (Weddings, Renewal of Vows, House Blessings and Clearings, Christenings, Baby Welcoming, Conscious Un-Coupleings, Funerals, Memorial Services), Speaking Engagements, Instruction, and Readings.
